Introduction
I make this and bottle the leftovers to use for about 3 more servings of my Chickpea Cauliflower Coconut Curry recipe (also on Sparkrecipes.com). This can be used in any Indian recipe calling Garam Masala. This is the easy version because it uses ground spices...if you have whole and have the time to toast and grind them, that is ideal! Ingredients

* Cardamom, ground, 2 tsp
* Coriander, ground, 5 tsp
* Cumin, ground 4 tsp
* Black Pepper, freshly ground 2 tsp
* Allspice (or ground Cloves if you prefer), 1 tsp
* Cinnamon, ground, 1 tsp
* Nutmeg, ground, 1 tsp
Directions
Combine all ingredients and store in an airtight jar.
Serving Size: Makes 16 tsps of Spice Mix to be jarred and used as needed in Indian cuisine
