Introduction

This dressing makes me want to eat salad for every meal - I use the Whole Foods balsamic from the bulk section - its very thick, which I love, but you may want to add a bit of water to your dressing if you want to thin it out a little. Ingredients

    balsmic vinegar
    garlic olive oil
    spicy brown mustard
    agave nectar
    water (optional)

Directions

Add each ingredient to a container with a lid (a jar works great, but sometimes I make it right in the container I buy the balsmic from). Put the lid on, and shake thoroughly. The oil and vinegar should mix completely together and stay incorporated. If you prefer your dressing a little thinner, add water to gain the consistency you desire (water will lighten the color of the dressing).

Drizzle over a salad - my favorite salad to use this dressing with is a simple spinach salad. You can also adapt this to a bread dip by adding more olive oil and some minced garlic cloves.

Serving Size: makes about 10 servings for a small-med size salad
