Introduction

Ingredients

    2 Tbsp Miso paste
    1/2 large onion sliced thin
    1 1/2 cups hot water
    1 tsp garlic powder

Directions

Place water on stove top to boil. Saute onions until caramelized using the earth balance. Put onions, when done, in bowl with miso paste and garlic powder. Add hot water and stir until paste is dissolved.

!!!!IMPORTANT!!!! Do NOT boil or cook the miso paste in any way! It will become very bitter and gross, and will not dissolve properly.

Serving Size: Makes one large bowl
