Introduction

I love strawberry & DH loves peach, so I always make a half & half version of this cobbler. Other than store bought it just doesn't get easier than this. Be sure to melt the margarine in the oven as you preheat, it really makes the difference!

Ingredients

    3/4 C Flour
    3/4 C Splenda
    1 tsp baking powder
    1 tsp vanilla extract
    1/4 tsp salt (optional & not included in nutritional values)
    1/4 C milk
    1/4 C Country Crock
    2 C fresh fruit

Directions

Preheat oven to 350F

Melt margarine in 9X13" glass baking dish in oven. Use a smaller dish if you prefer a thicker cake for your crumble.

While margarine is melting, mix all dry ingredients, mix in milk & vanilla extract till smooth.

Remove melted margarine from oven and pour batter into the preheated pan, whisk together with margarine.

Cover with sliced fruit(s) of your choice. sprinkle a touch of additional Splenda over fruit.

Bake @ 350F for 50-60 mins.

Serve warm or at room temperature with ice cream or cool whip, if desired.
