Introduction

Slow Cooked, Chipotle, Beer, and Turkey Chilli Slow Cooked, Chipotle, Beer, and Turkey Chilli

Ingredients

    1 pound lean ground turkey
    1 15oz can tomato sauce
    1/2 bottle of Mexican Lager Beer (I used Dos Equis)
    1 15oz can diced tomatoes (with or without green chillies)
    1 15oz can garbanzo beans
    1 15oz can white beans
    1 tsp garlic powder
    2 Tsp chipotle chilli powder
    1 Tbs chilli powder
    2 tsp oregano
    Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Chop half an onion and rinse beans. Combine all ingredients into a regular crock pot and let sit for about 6-8 hours on low. I used a regular Mexican Lager, but you can sub light beer instead. Also I don't ever measure spices, I just add them until I think it's enough, so these are just estimates that you can play with!
