~2-1/2 teaspoons Argo® Corn Starch
~1 tablespoon and 3/4 teaspoon brown sugar
~1/8 teaspoon Spice Islands®
~Crushed Red OR Cayenne Pepper
~3 tablespoons and 1 teaspoon Karo® Light Corn Syrup
~3 tablespoons and 1 teaspoon soy sauce
~2-1/2 teaspoons dry sherry
~1-1/4 teaspoons sesame oil
~1-1/4 teaspoons rice vinegar
~1-1/4 teaspoons minced fresh ginger
~3/4 teaspoon minced garlic
Directions
Directions:
1. Stir corn starch, brown sugar and crushed red pepper together in a small saucepan OR 1-quart microwaveable dish.
2. Add remaining ingredients; stir well.
3. Cook over medium heat (OR microwave on HIGH (100%) for 2 minutes) stirring occasionally.
4. Heat until mixture boils for 1 full minute.
5. Cook and stir an additional 1 to 2 minutes, or until thickened to a syrup-like consistency.
6. Drizzle over your favorite stir-fry just before serving. Also delicious as a glaze for grilled meats. Store covered in refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
