Ingredients

    2 large apples, such as Fuji (not Granny Smith)
    1 teaspoon lemon juice
    Cinnamon to taste

Directions

1. Peel and core apples
2. Cut up into chunks
3. Place in saucepan and add lemon juice
4. Stir to make sure lemon juice coats all chunks
5. Heat and simmer until soft. Mash as desired.
6. Add cinnamon to taste.

Serving Size: Makes 2 1-cup servings
