    1 lb. Stew meat, cubed
    1 cup onion, chopped
1 large rutabaga, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
    3 large carrots, chopped
3 medium potatoes, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
1 bag frozen peas (10 oz)
    6 cups water
    1/4 cup flour
    1 whole Bay Leaf
    2 tsp Salt
    2 tsp Pepper
1 tsp Mrs. Dash (R) Garlic & Herb Seasoning Blend

In a dutch oven, brown meat. When meat is browned, mix flour with 1 cup water and add to the pot. Allow this to brown a little, stirring regularly. Add the rest of the water along with the onion, rutabaga, carrots, and potatoes. Bring to a boil and add spices. Turn down and allow to simmer for at least a half hour. Add peas 5-10 minutes before serving.

Can be made with either beef or pork.
Turnip can be substituted for rutabaga or left out all together.
Also tastes good with cooked barley added.

Serving Size: Makes apx. 10 1-cup servings.
