Introduction

Searched several recipes for using left-over turkey and put this together. Searched several recipes for using left-over turkey and put this together.

Ingredients

    1 1/4 C diced, cooked turkey
    1 medium apple, cored and diced
    1/4 C diced celery
    4 tablespoons light mayonnaise
    1 tablespoon raisins
    1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
    1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon


Directions

Combine all ingredients in a bowl.
Spoon on lettuce leaves for a salad, or into a pita bread for a sandwich.
Optional: Add 2 tablespoons chopped walnuts.

    Very Good
    Made this with some turkey breast that I cooked in the crockpot. Used grapes instead of raisins, and part mayo/part homemade oil and vinegar dressing. I left out the cinnamon and added a sprinkling of nuts on the top. - 5/3/11
