Introduction

Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    One 6 oz. package Farmhouse® Rice Pilaf
    2 Tablespoons butter or margarine
    1/2 cup onion, chopped
    1-3/4 cups water
    1/2 cup frozen peas, uncooked
    One 6 oz. can of tuna, drained
    1/4 cup sour cream
    1 cup grated cheddar cheese

Directions

1.Melt butter in medium skillet over medium heat. Add onion and cook for 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
2.Add water, peas, rice and contents of seasoning packet and bring just to a boil. Reduce heat to low boil. Cover and cook for 20 minutes, without stirring.
3.Add tuna, return cover, and continue cooking for 5 minutes.
4.Remove from heat and stir in sour cream and cheddar cheese.
5.Let stand 5 minutes, uncovered, before serving.

Serving Size: Makes about four 1 & 1/4 cup servings
