Ingredients

    * Brown Sugar, 2 cup, unpacked (loosely packed is fine)
    * Butter, salted, 1.5 stick (3/4 cup)
    * Egg, fresh, 3 large
    * Vanilla Extract, 1.5 tsp
    * Baking Soda, 1 tsp
    * White flour, 2 cup
    * *Wheat flour, white, 1 cup
    * *Whole Wheat Flour, 1 cup
    --Note on flour - you can use any combination of regular flour and wheat versions - this is just what I use.

Directions

Cream butter & sugar. Add eggs & blend well.
Add vanilla & soda, then flours. Mix well.
Drop by small cookie scoop - or teaspoons - onto cookie sheet and bake for approx 10 mins at 425 degrees. You want them just lightly browned so they will stay soft & chewy.
Adjust baking time as needed.

Note - these cookies do not flatten out - they stay rounded.
