A delicious 6 spice spaghetti sauce. A delicious 6 spice spaghetti sauce.
Number of Servings: 13

Ingredients

    1 tbs Basil
    1 tbs Oregano
    1 tbs Rosemarry
    1 tbs Thyme
    1 tbs Salt and Pepper*
    2 Pounds Lean Ground Beef
    5 cloves garlic, Chopped
    1 Onion, Chopped
    1760 mils Tomato Sauce
    150 mils Tomato Paste
    2 cans of Mushrooms.
    *Or to taste.

Directions

1. Saute ground beef on medium heat with 1 onion and 5 cloves of garlic. Drain the fat and return to pot.

2. Add 1760 mils of tomato sauce with 150 mils of tomato paste.

3. Add 2 cans of mushrooms. Make sure they are strained.

4. Add 1 tbs each of basil, oregano, rosemarry, thyme, salt and pepper.

5. Simmer on low heat for 20 mins.

Note: If the sauce seems too thick, simply add more tomato sauce or water/chicken stock until you reach your desired consistency. This sauce freezes well. I make this recipe every couple weeks and freeze into portions. Each portion is 1 cup.

    Incredible!
This is a wonderful sauce! The flavors mingle well. I added a little extra garlic and onion and left out the mushrooms as they are not a favorite for us. Thanks for sharing! - 9/6/16
