Ingredients

    shrimp, onion, sweet pepper, celery, minced garlic, olive oil, chicken broth, canned tomatos, turkey kielbasa, brown rice, thyme, basil, pepper, bay leaf, and cooked ham.

Directions

thaw shrimp, if frozen, set aside. saute garlic, celery, peppers, onions in olive oil till tender. Stir in chicken broth, undrained tomatos, sausage, rice, thyme basil, pepper, and bay leaf. Simmer cocered for 15 minutes. If using the brown rice let rice simmer about 10 minutes more. Stir in shrimp and return to boiling. Simmer for 5 more minutes. Stir in ham and heat through. Discard bay leaf.
