Onions, raw, 1 cup, chopped
Celery, raw, 1 cup, diced
Green Peppers (bell peppers), 1 cup, chopped
Ranch Style (brand) beans with jalapeno, 2 cup
*Del Monte Petite Cut Diced Tomatoes, one 14.5 oz can
Chili powder, 1 tsp
Lea & Perrins, Worcestershire Sauce, 1 tsp
Topping ingredients:
Flour, white, 1/2 cup
Yellow Cornmeal, 1/2 cup
Granulated Sugar, 6 TBSP
Baking Powder, 2 tsp
Salt, .25 tsp
Egg, fresh, 1 large
*Milk, Fat Free, Skim, 1/2 cup
*Canola Oil, 1 tbsp
Directions
preheat oven 425.
brown first three ingredients, then add remaining casserole base ingredients . in a seperate bowl mix cornbread topping. in a small casserole dish add base, then carefully spread cornbread topping on top.
Bake casserole 14-18 minutes, then let stand for 5 minutes and cut in 6 equal parts, serve
