This super yummy recipe makes great homemade bread. Easy, healthy, and frugal! Mix it up in your bread machine then bake in a loaf pan for perfect sandwich bread! Ingredients

1 c. warm room temperature water
1 Tbs. milk or plain, full fat yogurt
1 tsp. salt
2 Tbs. softened butter or coconut oil
3 Tbs. honey
a sprinkle of ground ginger
a pinch of citric acid (or lemon juice)
4 tablespoons (1/4 cup) vital wheat gluten/gluten flour
3 c. whole wheat flour
2 tsp. instant active dry SAF yeast
Directions
Add ingredients into your bread machine according to directions. (Usually liquid first, followed by dry ingredients.)
Put on dough cycle.
When dough cycle is finished, remove dough and shape into a loaf. Place in greased loaf pan. Let rise for about an hour. Bake at 350* for 30-35 minutes. Internal temperature should be 200*.
Serving Size: makes approx. 12-16 slices. (Nutritional Info is for 16 slices.)
