Introduction
This is a great recipe that is a hit at family gatherings. I have changed it slightly from the actually recipe by cutting back on the oil, using lite miracle whip and splenda in place of sugar. I am not sure how "lite" it will come out in comparison with some low-cal recipes, but I know how good this is!! :) This is a great recipe that is a hit at family gatherings. Ingredients
-
4.5 tsp tarragon vinegar
5 TBSP canola oil
3/4 C. chopped onions
2-1/2 C Miracle Whip Light
3/4 C. Splenda
2 bags 14oz of coleslaw blend (I use roughly 1 1/2 bags)
Directions
MIX OIL, CHOPPED ONIONS AND SUGAR
ADD TARRAGON VINEGAR
FOLD IN MIRACLE WHIP
IN A LARGE BOWL PUT THE COLESLAW BLEND IN THERE. POUR MIXTURE ABOVE OVER THE COLESLAW AND FOLD IN WELL. IT MAY APPEAR A BIT DRY BUT AFTER SITTING OVERNIGHT IT WILL BECOME MORE "SAUCEY".
***REFRIGERATE***
THIS IS BEST TO MAKE THE NIGHT BEFORE AND THE TARRAGON VINEGAR IS THE KEY TO THIS RECIPE!! :)
Serving Size: makes approx 12 servings 3/4 cup
