Introduction

Hearty soup, that is a breeze to fix. Long simmer taste for short simmer time. Hearty soup, that is a breeze to fix. Long simmer taste for short simmer time.

Ingredients

    2 boneless skinless chicken breast, cubed
    1 onion, chopped
    6 cups of mushrooms, whatever you like
    4 cups fat free chicken broth
    1 cup wild rice blend
    half teaspoon celery seed
    tsp black pepper
    8 cups of water

Directions

pour broth and water in stock pot. toss in chicken, then onion then mushrooms. simmer and stir until mushrooms cook down. add rice and more water if needed. simmer until rice is cooked to your desired softness ( i like mine with a bit of a bite) add seasonings to taste. You may add other vegetables if you like, such as celery or corn, or bell pepper.
