    1 Large Onion chopped
    2 Bags frozen cut green beans
    1 lb cubed ham no fat
    1 1/2 galons water
    1 Tbsp garlic powder
    1 Tbsp Thyme
    salt and pepper to taste
    4 Tbsp corn starch (optional)


Makes 18, 1 cup servings

Simmer ham bone in water for about an hour, longer if you have time and remove bone and discard. Thicken broth with corn starch as desired. Add rest of ingredients and simmer until the potatoes are done and serve.
