Ingredients

Dry: two tbl. each protein powder and psyllium husk; 1/4 tsp. each glucomann (konjac) powder and baking powder; pinch each salt and cinnamon.

Wet: one egg; four tbl. sugar-free syrup.

Optional but recommended: 1 tsp. to 1 tbl. butter for cooking

Directions

Blend dry ingredients together, then add the wet; let sit a few minutes to thicken before cooking.

Dry: two tbl. each protein powder and psyllium husk; 1/4 tsp. each glucomann (konjac) powder and baking powder; pinch each salt and cinnamon.

Wet: one egg; four tbl. sugar-free syrup. (I prefer Torani Sugar Free brown sugar cinnamon.)

No need to beat egg separately, just be sure to blend thoroughly. Let sit a few minutes and stir again before spooning into pan--you should be able to see a few small bubbles in the batter.

Even if using a non-stick griddle, a pat of butter (or more) is recommended for texture. Medium-high heat. Add batter by the spoonful once the butter is melted and has begun to sizzle. Cook until edges are pale, flip and cook until browned.
