Ingredients

Ingredients:
Tomato Paste, 8 can (6 oz)
*Contadina Tomato Puree (29oz), 116 oz
Garlic, 8 cloves
Basil, 4 tbsp
Oregano, ground, 4 tbsp
Allspice, 1 tbsp
Hershey Special Dark Sweet Chocolate Bar, 1 bar (1.45 oz)
*Onion - Raw, chopped, 2 cup
Pepper, black, 2 tbsp
Granulated Sugar, .5 cup
Water, tap, 232 fl oz
Olive Oil, .5 cup
carrot large whole
whole bay leaf 6
Directions
Olive oil and chopped onions in 12 quart pot saute med heat add crushed garlic.
add paste puree and water stirring almost constantly
add rest of ingredients.bring to slow boil,stir frequently or it will stick.turn down low and simmer a few hours.want to reduce and thicken it a little.Still need to stir and keep an eye on it.I will occasionally throw leftover steak or chicken or some baked meatballs but it is a marinara sauce.
Remove bay leaves and carrot.Discard.
Enjoy!
I put the remaining 9 quarts in mason jars and keep in the fridge. Could easily put in freezer bags and freeze as well.
Serving Size: makes 10 quarts of sauce 10 dinners for 4 or 5
