Ingredients

    1 beef top round steak, cut 3/4 inch thick (about 1 pound)

    1 pound asparagus, trimmed
    Mushrooms, sliced (optional)
    1 tsp olive oil
    3 Tbsp shredded Parmesan cheese
    Mrs. Dash Garlic and Herb
    Orzo dish:
    Hot cooked orzo
    1/4 cup diced dried red peppers
    2 Tbsp capers
    2 Tbsp fresh basil
    1-2 clove garlic, minced

    Marinade:
    1/4 cup red wine vinegar
    2 TBSP olive oil
    1 Tbsp fresh thyme
    2 large cloves garlic, minced
    2 tsp steak seasoning blend
    1-2 tsp crushed red pepper

Directions

1. Combine marinade ingredients and beef steak in food-safe plastic bag. Marinate in refrigerator 6+ hours, turning occasionally.

2. Remove steak from marinade; discard marinade. Toss asparagus and mushrooms with oil. Grill steak 10-11 minutes over medium heat. (Do not overcook.) Grill vegetables 6-10 minutes or until crisp-tender, turning occasionally.
3. Prepare orzo per instructions on box. (Do not overcook.) Add dried red peppers, capers, basil and garlic.

3. Immediately sprinkle cheese over asparagus. Carve steak into thin slices. Season with Mrs. Dash, as desired. Serve with asparagus and orzo


Serving Size: Makes 5 servings of 3 oz meat about 1/3 cup orzo and a little over 1/2 cup vegetables.
