Introduction

This tastes as good as the Chicken lettuce wraps we used to get at our favorite Asian Resturant! This tastes as good as the Chicken lettuce wraps we used to get at our favorite Asian Resturant!
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    Package of Tempeh
    4 green onions
    3 cloves of garlic
    1 cup of chopped mushrooms
    3/4 cup of frozen peas (thawed)
    1/8-1/4 cup (about) Braggs Liquid Aminos
    1-2 Tablespoon of Toasted Sesame seed oil
    1 small head of baby bib lettuce (or any lettuce leaves will do)

    First boil the the tempeh for about 8 minutes and drain.
    Crumble Tempeh and set aside.

    Separate the lettuce leaves, wash and let dry on paper towels while you make
    the saute tempeh.

    Saute the garlic and green onion in a tiny bit of oil for about 5 minutes.
    Add everything else, including tempeh, and saute until tempeh is golden brown
    and all liquid is gone.
    Spoon into baby bib lettuce leaves and enjoy!

    *Braggs Liquid aminos are pretty salty so adjust to your taste
    you can also use soy sauce.
    *Toasted sesame seed oil has a pretty strong taste so adjust
    to your palate as well.
