Ingredients

    1 large onion, diced
    3 Tb olive oil
    1 lb ground pork
    2 Tb fresh sage, chopped finely
    2 C cubed butternut squash, about one small squash
    1 C pork or chicken stock
    1 lb whole wheat pasta, rigatoni

Directions

Saute onion in oil. Add ground pork and brown, seasoning with salt and pepper and garlic powder. Add stock and butternut squash and sage. Simmer until squash is fork tender. Meanwhile, cook pasta to al dente or under. Add drained pasta to the pot of other ingredients. Allow to cook for about five more minutes or until pasta is cooked. Yum.
