Introduction
This is a tried and tested chili which I make for my co-workers, have gotten praise each time. I just modified a bit after starting my diet. Ingredients

~3 pounds meat (I used 96% FF beef, 93% turkey, and turkey sausage crumbles)
1 green pepper
1 white onion
1 can kidney beans, washed and drained
1 large can diced tomatoes, drained
1 large can tomato sauce
1 medium ccan diced tomatoes w/ green chiles, drained
8 oz beer
ground cumin
chili powder
garlic powder
salt
cinnamon
chili seasoning packet
Directions
1. Peel and dice onion and green pepper.
2. Open and drain both cans of diced tomatoes
3. Open, rinse, and drain kidney beans
4. Pour tomato sauce, both cans diced tomatoes, kidney beans, green peppers, and onion into 5 quart crockpot
5. Brown all the meat together, drain, then simmer in beer for 5-10 minutes.
6. Add ground beef and beer to crock pot. Stir well
7. Sprinkle about 2 tbsp chili powder, 2 tsp ground cumin, 2 tsp cinnamon, 1 tsp garlic powder, and 1 tsp salt into crockpot, stir
8. Cook for 8 hours. If cooking unattended, repeat step 7 before turning on crockpot, and add in 1/2 a packet oh chili mix. If cooking attended, add seasonings in to taste.
Serving Size: Makes 18 cups, serving size is 1.5 cups
