My mom's special extra tasty recipe for Besan Vegetable Pakoda. Note: The quantity of oil has been calculated according to the amount that was absorbed by the pakoda's after deep frying. Ingredients

Canola Oil for Frying 3/4 cup
Gram Flour (Besan)
Baking Powder 1/2 tsp
Luke Warm Water 1/2 cup
Onion finely chopped 1 medium
Fresh Cilantro Leaves (Dhaniya) 5 Tbsp
Fresh Green Chiles finely chopped 2
Salt 1/2 tsp
Cumin Seeds 1 tsp
Cumin Powder 1/2 tsp
Coriander Powder 1/2 tsp
Crushed Chili Pepper 1 tsp
Red Chili Powder 1/2 tsp (if you want a lil extra spicy)
Baking Powder 1/2 tsp
Directions
In a bowl add gram flour,baking soda, and water and whisk till its formed a smooth toothpaste like consistency.
Then add salt, red chili powder, cumin powder, cumin seeds, coriander powder, crushed red chili, green chilies, and cilantro leaves and mix throughly then rest it in the refrigerator for 5 minutes
Take the mix out of the refrigerator, add onions and mix well.
Now grab the mixture by your fingers and drop it in the oil or you can pour it by a tablespoon. Fry on medium heat for 5-10 minutes.
Serve hot with Tomato Ketchup/ Tamarind Chutney/ or add it in Yogurt Kadhi
