Introduction

This is a recipe my mother received from a friend back in the very early 70s and is a mandatory staple in our home for Thanksgiving. The original recipe called for a whopping 2 cups of sugar. I've modified it by using Splenda. Please adjust the sweetner to your taste. Ingredients

    2 12oz bags of fresh cranberries
    1 whole fresh lemon
    1 whole fresh orange, medium
    1 whole fresh apple, medium
    1 cup chopped walnuts
    1 cup sugar or no calorie sweetner

Directions

run the fruit and nuts through a meat grinder on a medium setting. add sweetner to taste. mix well. can be frozen for later use.

Serving Size: makes 24-30 servings
