Introduction

given to me by a friend who eats gluten free given to me by a friend who eats gluten free
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    2 cups cornmeal
    2 cups buttermilk
    2 eggs
    1 tsp baking soda
    1 tsp salt
    2 tbsp turbinado sugar

    1-2 tsp butter

Directions

mix together and let sit a while (bubbles will form) - not necessary but makes it better
Heat oven to 350 degrees
Put cast iron skillet in oven with a tsp of butter in it. When oven is preheated, butter will be melted. Pour in the batter. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until center is just firm to the touch.

Serving Size: Makes 12 wedges
