Introduction
Pizza out of ramen?? Who knew! Pizza out of ramen?? Who knew!Number of Servings: 6
Ingredients
-
2 packages ramen noodles (I used chicken flavor but you can use chicken or beef), seasoning packets removed and set aside
2 slices bacon (or ground beef/turkey, whatever meat that browns), cut into pieces
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup mushrooms (optional)
1 egg
1/2 cup milk (I used skim)
3 tablespoons Parmesan cheese
1 cup spaghetti sauce
3/4 - 1 cup shredded cheese of choice (I used Italian blend)
Tips
I made this in a pie pan but I think it would be better in a larger, flatter pan, just so the crust gets a little more crispy! Don't worry if the noodles don't set all the way - it basically just turns into ramen lasagna, which is still good.
Feel free to make this with whatever toppings you want. I think more veggies would be excellent, and next time I might try it with ham!
Directions
Preheat oven to 350
Cook ramen as directed.
Mix parmesan, milk, and egg together in a bowl.
Combine cooked ramen and milk mixture.
Transfer noodles to a pizza pan or pie pan - anything with slight edges.
Cook onion, bacon, and mushrooms in a pan until golden brown.
Pour the spaghetti sauce over the noodles, spread onion mix and bacon mixture around evenly, and top with shredded cheese.
Cook at 350 for 20 minutes or until noodles have set.
Enjoy your ramen pizza party!!
