Ingredients

    1/3 cup oil
    1/2 cup sugar
    1 large egg, beaten
    2 cups uncooked oats
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    2/3 cup milk

Directions

Combine oil, sugar and egg. Add oats, baking powder, salt and mil. Pour into a small, greased casserole dish. Bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes. Serve warm with milk and cinnamon.

    Very yummy, but I've changed it to make it healthier.
    Changes:
    instead of just oil, use coconut oil
    instead of sugar, use Splenda
    2 eggs, and 1/2 c milk
    add vanilla and cinnamon (lots)
    add some unsweetened coconut flakes
    top with walnuts
    serve with SF syrup and milk

    Yummmm-Oh. This tastes like eating oatmeal cookies. I added raisins. Next time I am going to try to use splenda and applesauce instead of oil and sugar - 1/5/08

    I used unsweetened applesauce insead of the oil, cut the amount of sugar in half, and added some cinnamon and chopped apple. Very tasty, warm, and filling!! - 9/29/11
