Ingredients

270 gms frozen spinach
305 gms ground beef
120 gms onion, finely chopped
3 jumbo eggs
5 tablespoons sour cream
50 gms grated tasty cheese
1/3 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/3 teaspoon ground allspice
Pinch of cayenne pepper
Salt and pepper to taste10 gms unsalted butter
40 gms filo pastry sheets
Directions
Thaw spinach and squeeze out some of the liquid.
Cook mince beef and onion in a non-stick pan for a few minutes till meat is no longer pink and onion is soft.
In a large bowl, mix well the eggs, cream and cheese. Add the spinach together with the beef and onion, and season with the spices and salt. Mix well.
Transfer mixture to a non-stick loaf tin. Melt butter and brush filo pastry strips with the butter making about 8 layers of pastry altogether. Bake in moderate oven till mixture is set and pastry is golden (around 40 minutes or so).
