Ingredients

    1 lb. extra lean ground beef
    1 c. celery (diced)
    1 c. onions (diced)
    1 c. red peppers (diced)
    1 c. yellow peppers (diced)
    1 c. mushrooms (sliced)
    3 garlic cloves (crushed)
    1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese
    1 T. Olive Oil
    60 oz. Contadina Tomato Sauce
    1 Tbsp. basil
    2 tsp. oregano
    4 Tbsp. parsley
    1 tsp red pepper flakes

Tips

Replace the ground beef with extra veggies (mushrooms, cauliflower, etc.) for a meatless meal


Directions

1) In large sauce pan, add olive oil, celery, onions, peppers & mushrooms, and saute until tender.
2) Add ground beef, salt, pepper, basil, oregano, garlic and red pepper flakes and cook til beef is browned
3) Add tomato sauce and parmesan cheese and simmer for at least 20 minutes.
