Introduction

This is a staple for turkey dinners at my Mom's place. This is a staple for turkey dinners at my Mom's place.
Number of Servings: 24

Ingredients

    2 heads of cabbage, previously frozen and thawed (also excellent with sour cabbage)
    3/4 lb extra lean ground beef
    6-8 slices of bacon
    1 medium onion chopped
    5 garlic cloves, crushed
    1-1/2 cups cooked rice
    3 cans tomato soup (10.75 oz each)

Directions

Mix all ingredients (except cabbage) with enough soup to combine easily.
Separate cabbage leaves and fill with meat mixture roll up tucking in ends.
Place seam side down in casserole dish.
Pour remaining soup over cabbage rolls.
Cook at 350*F for 2 hours.

    This recipe was good, but bland. I think next time I will tweek it a bit to add more flavor - 12/23/07
