Ingredients
-
*Medium Sized Shrimp, 16 oz
*Hot Sauce, Tapatio, 20 tsp
*Margarine-like spread, Country Crock, regular, 2 tbsp
*Garlic, 1 clove
*Tomato Sauce, 1 cup
Tips
Great with refried Beans, White rice and Salad.
You can also substitute Hunts tomato sauce to El Pato picante tomato sauce for more of a spicy kick.
Directions
Prep-
*Peel the Garlic and Chop it up into very small pieces.
*Peel the shrimp (optional) you can leave the shell ( you can peel as you eat or if you don't want to bother then peel them before cooking)
*Pre-heat a medium sized sauce pan to medium low heat
*Pour the Garlic and the butter and let simmer (10 to 15 minutes)
*Pour the Shrimp into the sauce pan and stir
continuously so the shrimp cooks evenly
******this part is very important. DO NOT OVER COOK
shrimp will shrink and become hard**** as soon as shrimp becomes semi pink you pour in the tomato sauce and the Tapatio hot sauce. ( if you like the shrimp extremely HOT you can add more Tapatio)
* simmer for about 15 to 20 minutes.
and your ready to serve.
