    3 large sweet potatoes, peeled and sliced thick
    3 large apples, peeled and sliced thick
    1 Tbsp. Onion Powder
    6 boneless pork chops
    1 tsp. salt
    1/3 cup Tastefully Simple Bayou Bourbon Glaze
    1/3 cup low-sodium chicken broth


Place sweet potatoes on the bottom of a greased slow cooker. Layer apples on top of sweet potatoes and sprinkle with onion powder. Season pork chops with salt and place them on top of apples. Combine chicken broth and Bayou Bourbon Glaze in a separate bowl and whisk to combine. Poor broth mixture over chops. Cook on low for 5-6 hours or until potatoes are fork tender and the pork chops are cooked through. When serving, spoon broth from bottom of slower cooker over pork chops.

  • You know, I gave this recipe a try because. Just got the bayou bourbon glaze and wanted to try a slow cooker recipe with it. I don't know if I did something wrong or what but this was kind of gross. I thought the concept sounded great but will try to doctor it p and see what happens. - 10/16/12
