Introduction

I grew up loving Halushki being in an italian family. I modified the recipie to use hardly any olive oil and also no noodles. Tastes just like regular Halushki, but without all the calories! It's very filling too, I always feel full and satisfed. I grew up loving Halushki being in an italian family. I modified the recipie to use hardly any olive oil and also no noodles. Ingredients

    Cabbage- 3 cups shredded
    Onions- 1/2 cup sliced
    Zucchini- 1/2 cup sliced
    Yellow Squash- 1/2 cup sliced
Hillshire Farms Turkey Lil' Smokies- 5 links (1 serving)
    Light Olive Oil- 1 Tsp
    Water- see recipe
    Salt and Pepper to taste

**For a vegitarian take on this- just remove the lil'smokies. It's still just as good!

Directions

1.) Cut up all the vegtables- Cabbage, Zucchini, Squash and onion. Also, cut up the lil' smokies- but place them to the side for later.
2.) Add the Cabbage, Zucchini, Squash and onion to a deeper frying pan with water about 1/2 inch deep in the pan. Turn burner on high and let the veggies boil down and the cabbage cook through uncovered. About 15 Min.
3.) When the water is evaporated, add the olive oil in and the lil smokies. Mix all together. Keep stirring until the mixture browns slightly and "frys" a bit. About 5 Min max.
4.) Remove from heat to serve. Salt and pepper to your taste. ENJOY!!

Serving Size: Makes 1 Serving. Looks like a lot of food at first, but boils down a lot.
