Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 pound lean ground beef
    1 egg
    1 tsp olive oil
    1/4 cup celery
    1/4 cup onion
    1/4 cup red bell pepper
    1/2 plum tomato
    4 tsp. Worcestershire Sauce
    1/4 cup breadcrumbs

Directions

Dice all the vegetables and saute in the olive oil. Mix the ground beef, egg, worcestershire and breadcrumbs together with the cooled vegetable mix. Season with salt and pepper. I use a 6 cup muffin tin and pre-portion the meat mixture into the cups. Top each with some tomato sauce and bake in a 350 degree oven for 30 minutes. You can add some fresh herbs if you prefer.
