*Kidney Beans, dry, 1 cup (remove)
*Great Value Pinto Beans (dry), 1 cup (remove)
*Black Beans (Dry), 1 cup (remove)
*Beefsteak Tomato (1 medium tomato), 2 serving (remove)
*Carrot, 1 7" long carrot, 2 serving (remove)
*cocoa (Hershey's unsweetened cocoa/ srvg size= 1 tbsp= 5g), 1 tbsp (remove)
*Chili powder, 2 tbsp (remove)
**McCormick ground cumin, 1 tbsp (remove)
*Clove of Garlic, 2 serving (remove)
*Ground Cayanne Pepper, 1 tsp (remove)
*Water, warm tap (110 F), 3 cup (remove)
Tips
add more spices to suit taste.
Directions
Pressure cook the beans for 35 minutes.
Chop up tomatoes, carrots and garlic put in cast iron pot that holds more than 1 gallon.
Cut the meat into bite sized pieces and brown and add to pot.
Put water in pot
mix remaining ingredients with a little water to make a paste and and to the pot.
when the beans are done add to the pot
simmer for 2-2.5 hours stiring often so it does not stick to the pot.
Serving Size: makes about 12 1-cup servings
