Ingredients

    64 oz Swanson Organic Chicken Broth
    6.5 oz of sliced ham from the deli, cubed
    1 cup dried pinto beans
    1.5 cup onion, finely diced
    1 cup carrots, finely chopped
    2 cups celery, finely chopped
    basil and bay leaf to taste

Directions

soak pinto beans in water overnight, drain and rinse. Add to broth in large soup pan. Add all ingredients and simmer for 1.5 hours or until beans are tender.

Serving Size: makes 6 2 cup servings
