Ingredients

    1 pkg Harvest Farms Organic, Gluten Free Brown Rice
    2 pkg Kitchen Basics Gluten Free Chicken Stock
    2 tbsp Better Than Bullion Chicken Base
    2 cups tap water

Tips

If you want to jazz things up a little, add garlic to your olive oil before adding rice and season with herbs or spices when mixture comes to a boil before the "simmer" stage.


Directions

In the bottom of a large covered roaster, place 1/3 cup of extra virgin olive oil. Add all of the rice (32 oz). Stir constantly over high heat until rice kernels are lightly browned. Add two chicken stock (64 oz) plus 16 oz of tap water and 2 tbsp Chicken Base. Bring mixture to a full rolling boil. Reduce heat to a simmer and cook covered for 35 minutes or until all liquid is absorbed. Fluff rice with a fork and serve immediately or refrigerate for later use.
