Introduction

I use a breadmaker to make this dough for pizza (2 large thick crust) or rolls. I use a breadmaker to make this dough for pizza (2 large thick crust) or rolls.

Ingredients

    1 c. Warm (not hot) water
    1/3 c. sugar
    1 T. Yeast
    3 1/3 c. flour
    1 egg
    1 T oil
    1 t. salt

Tips

This dough can be frozen (1/4 of dough in sandwich baggie or 1/2 in 1 qt. baggie) to be used another day. Defrost for about 3 minutes, and shape as desired.


Directions

Combine water, sugar and yeast, to proof while you measure flour. Add salt, egg and oil, and place in breadmaker on dough setting for 20 minutes. Roll out or shape into up to 16 roll.

Serving Size: Makes two large pizzas (16 rolls)
