Ingredients

    Butter, salted, 2 tbsp
    Applesauce, unsweetened, .25 cup
    Cinnamon, ground, .5 tsp
    Brown Sugar, .5 cup, packed
    Granulated Sugar, .25 cup
    Salt, 1 tsp
    Baking Powder, 1 tsp
    Baking Soda, .5 tsp
    egg white, fresh, 2 large (
    *Whole Wheat Flour, 1 cup
    *Quaker Oats 100% Natural Whole Grain oatmeal, 2 cup )

Tips

Add .75 cups of dried cranberries (Craisens) for an additional 9 calories per cookie

.75 cups of semi sweet chocolate chips adds 23 calories per cookie


Directions

Preheat oven to 375F

Cream butter, applesauce, egg whites, cinnamon, brown sugar, white sugar, salt, baking powder, and baking soda

Add flour and oats. Mix until all combined, but do not over mix

Use a teaspoon to spoon onto a cookie sheet with aluminum foil (shiny side down).

Cook for 8 minutes and immediately remove from cookie sheet so as not to over cook.

Serving Size: Makes 36 cookies (3 dozen)
