1 gal Apple juice
8 Whole Allspice
10 Whole Cloves
8 Cinnamon Sticks
Directions
Preparation:
1. Turn your crockpot on and let it heat on High while preparing the apple cider.
2. Wrap the Allspice, cloves and cinnamon sticks in a coffee filter and tie it shut with kitchen twine.
3. In a large sauce pan, bring the apple juice and spices just to the boiling point.
4. Turn off the heat and let it steep for 4 to 6 minutes.
5. Pour the cider into the heated crock pot.
6. Lower the temperature to low.
7. Remove the spice bag when you are ready to serve.
8. Serve warm. Ladle into serving cups and add a fresh cinnamon stick.
