Ingredients

    4.2 oz. lean ground beef
    7.2 oz. fresh ground pork
    6 T. tomato paste
    1 14.5 oz. can diced tomatoes
    1 14.5 oz. can of water
    1 T. cornstarch
    1 clove fresh garlic minced
    1 T. minced onion re-hydrated in 2 t. warm tap water
    1/2 t. Italian Seasoning
    1/2 t. dried sweet basil

Directions

Brown ground beef & pork in deep skillet. Add tomato paste, diced tomatoes, & rehydrated onion. After it is simmering real good, add the italian seasoning, basil, & minced clove of garlic. Stir the cornstarch into the can of water and then slowly stir into meat sauce to thicken while simmering.
