Unfed Sourdough Starter, .5 cup
Almond Breeze Almond Milk, Unsweetened Vanilla, 8 oz
Cider Vinegar, .33 tbsp
Agave Nectar Stick, 3 stick
*Bob's Red Mill Whole Ground Flaxseed Meal, 2 Tbsp., .5 serving
Flour, whole grain, 1.25 cup
Sunflower Oil (oleic), 2 tbsp
Salt, .25 tsp
Baking Soda, .5 tsp
Directions
Night before making waffles:
Mix sourdough starter, almond milk, vinegar, and agave well, then add flour and let sit overnight, covered lightly at room temp.
Day of making waffles:
Mix flaxseed meal with 2 TBS warm water and let congeal.
Add flax mixture, oil, salt, and baking soda to flour mixture and stir until just incorporated.
Spray waffle iron with oil and add batter. Cook according to manufacturer's directions.
Serving Size: Makes approximately 4 waffles, depends on your wafflemaker
