    1/2 c. Onions, raw, chopped
    Garlic, 1 clove minced
    Tomato Sauce, 2 cups
    Canned Tomatoes, 6 cups, drained and pureed
    Pepper, black, 1 tsp
    Salt, 1 tsp
    Pepper, red or cayenne, .08 tsp
    Granulated Sugar, 4 tsp
    Basil, 1 tbsp
    Oregano, ground, 1 tbsp
    Bay Leaf, 1 leaf
    Ground beef, lean, 1 lb.
    *Buitoni Four Cheese Ravioli, 1 bag.
    Mozzarella Cheese, part skim milk, 8 oz (low fat)


Brown beef, onion and garlic. Add the next 10 ingredients and simmer for 2 hours, uncovered.

Spoon 1/3 of the meat sauce into a 2qt. square baking dish. Arrange frozen ravioli atop the meat sauce. Sprinkle with 1/3 of the mozzarella cheese. Top with sauce 1/3 of the meat sauce. Top with 1/3 of the cheese. Top with remaining meat sauce. Bake covered for 40 minutes. Uncover and sprinkle on remaining cheese. Bake another 5 minutes.
