Introduction

Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    2 Tblsp sesame oil
    1 large onion, cut in half lengthwise, then sliced lengthwise
    6 cloves garlic, chopped
    1 9-oz package of Gardein Beefless Tips, cut into thick slices
    1 16-oz package of frozen broccoli florets (or fresh broccoli)
    2 Tbsp tahini
    3 Tbsp tamari (soy sauce)
    2 tsp ground ginger (or grated fresh ginger)
    Sea salt and white pepper, to taste

Tips

I usually use fresh ingredients, whenever I can, but the frozen broccoli and ground ginger work really well, too.


Directions

Fry onion and garlic in sesame oil until garlic starts to brown. Add the broccoli and cook over medium/low heat for about 10 minutes. Add the beefless tips, tamari, tahini, ginger and spices. Stir well. Add a few tablespoons of water or veggie broth if it's too thick. Cook until heated thoroughly. Serve over brown rice.
