Directions
Partially freeze the beef (about an hour or so) to make it easier to slice. Slice the beef as thinly as possible against the grain. It should be in very thin slices, but not falling apart. Mix all the remaining ingredients except the lettuce. Pour over the meat and marinate at least 1 hour.
Preheat grill, I use a foreman. You can also cook the meat in a pan. Watch the meat carefully, it cooks really quick.
Serve with lettuce leaves or brown rice.
Serve beef rolled up in lettuce leaves if desired.
Serving Size: 8 servings ( on lettuce leafs)
Number of Servings: 8

I was unsure how to rate this exactly but I decided to give it 4 stars because it was a great base recipe!! I had to make modifications. 1.) this recipe is way too sweet. Authentic Mongolian Beef is not sweet like candy. I used 5 packets of Splenda as opposed to 1/4 cup. It gives extra dimension wit - 9/24/15
