Number of Servings: 26

Ingredients

1 large container of Quick Oats (42 oz)
1 box of nonfat powdered milk (9.6 oz)*
1.5 cup brown sugar - NOT packed
    4 T cinnamon

    * This is enough powdered milk to make 3 quarts of milk when mixed.

Tips

When compared to 2 packages of store bought instant oatmeal, it has less calories, less fat, less sodium, less carbs/sugar and more protein and makes about the same amount of food.

You can easily add raisins to this or chopped apples for a little variety.

Directions

Take 1/2 of the oats and pulse in a food processor. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. Store in a sealed container.

When ready to eat combine 1/2 cup mixture with 1/2 cup boiling water and allow to sit for 1 minute.

I store mine in a large container and shake before using to reduce settling. Or you can prepackage into small ziploc bags.
