Introduction

Ingredients

    3/4 cup prepared old fashioned oatmeal
    1 large egg
    1/8 teaspoon black pepper
    1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    cooking spray

Tips

Try adding minced onion, garlic,and/or mushrooms to the mix.


Directions

Mix all ingredients together in a bowl. Spray small frying pan with cooking spray then form a patty and brown both sides on medium heat. It should be a bit crispy on the outsides and slightly soft in the center.

Serving Size: Makes 1 large 4" patty
