Introduction

Healthy version of biscuits. Healthy version of biscuits.
Number of Servings: 15

Ingredients

    1 cup whole wheat flour
    1 cup white flour
    4 tsp. baking powder
    2 tsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/4 cup butter
    1 cup 1% Milk

Directions

Mix dry ingredients.
Cut in butter.
Mix wet ingredients and add to dry ingredients.
Mix and knead dough, not too long.
Break off pieces, about 1/4 cup size and put on cookie sheet.
Bake at 450 degrees F. for about 10 minutes.

Serving Size: makes 15 small biscuits
